ETA Star Appliances Private Limited (ESA), incorporated in 2007, is an  initiative  of  ETA  General  Private  Limited  which  is  a  part  of  ETA  –  Ascon Group a $4 billion conglomerate.

ETA  General  Private  Limited  (EGPL)  is  a Joint Venture of ETA ASCON Group, Dubai and Fujitsu General Limited, Japan which brought the famous “Extreme Machine” –  Air conditioners to Indian market. In a span of 5 years, ETA General has established the brand as the best available premium product in the market with its quality and service.

ETA - Ascon group is one of the biggest multinational corporation with  21  offices  worldwide  and  an  annual  turnover  of  US $  5  billion. It  has  major  business  interests  in  Trading  &  Shipping,  Electromechanical  Contracting,  Elevator  business,  Construction  &  Manufacturing  in  the  U.A.E. 

ESA enters the market with an agenda of offering world class brown and white goods for Indian market. As its first approach to Indian market ESA launched VESTAR brand of High Definition LCD Televisions which is available across India from the end of January 2008.

ETA Star Appliances will distribute the Indesit range of appliances in the Indian market from April’2008. 

Indesit Company is Europe’s second largest manufacturer of household appliances by market share and the world’s fifth. Founded in 1975 by the current chairman Vittorio Merloni and listed on the Milan stock exchange since 1987, the Group posted sales of over €3 billion in 2007, having turned out over 15 million appliances. Indesit Company operates through 18 production facilities and 24 commercial branches worldwide and employs over 17,000 people.
This will be followed by Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Air-conditioners, and Kitchen Appliances by end of March ’08. All products will cater to the premium segment customers across India.

The Indesit brand range will comprise of
( a )      A full range of front loading fully automatic Washing Machines of 5 – 7 kg capacity. Indesit’s designer machine “Moon” which the Company is launching globally will be the Star of the category.
( b )      Frost free large capacity Refrigerators
( c )      A range of Dish Washers
( d )      A range of Kitchen Appliances which will include various sizes and configurations of Chimneys, Hoods, Hobs and Cooking range models in various sizes. 

ESA is hoping to achieve a turnover of Rs 1000 crore in 4 years span.
